Project Criteria
Make a maze that will will hold a metal ball that is just under a 1/4 inch big. Maze can be and shape your want it to be and no bigger than 8.5x11 inches. You need to have 1/4 inch around the outside as a perimeter and then fill the space with channels.
Rough outline of of my maze without any channels drawn in yet.
Drew in channels for the ball to roll around in.
Cut out channels for the ball and made it look more like a Christmas tree with the edges.
After its finished being drawn in Inventor you need to load it into fusion 360, fun fact you can draw this in fusion 360 but our main focus was on Inventor this semester.
After it is uploaded you have to set up a toolpath that way the router knows how to cut it out.
Once you set up your toolpath you save the G-code which is actually what tells the router what to do.

Maze getting cut out
Maze cutout was a fail, material kept building up on the end of the bit and started gouging out excess material as it was cutting out. Cleared it off a few times but was making no difference because it built back up right after it started up again. Not sure why this was happening, not sure if others had this problem too or something similar to it.
